Ignitability And Flame Spread Test Machine ISO5657
Introduction to Flammability Tester:
Flammability refers to the ignitability of materials, which is one of the most important characteristics of materials' combustion performance, and is the key point of any fire hazard assessment.
The flammability tester is mainly used to measure the flammability of the exposed surface of plane materials, and its production complies with ISO 5657 and BS 476, Part 13. The flammability tester is mainly designed for testing building materials and composites. The test sample is 165mm x 165mm, and the thickness is not more than 70mm.
Standards:
ISO 5657 and BS 476.
The flammability tester includes a support frame that horizontally clamps the specimen between the pressure plate and the shielding plate, so as to expose the specified area of the upper surface of the specimen to radiation. This radiation is provided by a conical irradiation furnace located above the sample support frame. The automatic pilot flame device moves the pilot flame to the correct position above the sample through the conical irradiation furnace. The sample insertion positioning tray is used to accurately position the sample on the pressure plate of the sample support frame, and the sieve plate is used to shield the sample surface when inserting the sample into the instrument.
