DX8890 Aircraft Seat Pad Oil Combustion Test Device
1. Comply with standards:
It is a new type of testing equipment researched and developed according to the technical conditions specified in the test standard of the national standard "AC-25-01R2 Civil Aviation Regulations of China, Part 25, Appendix F Flammability of Seat Cushions". The purpose of this test is to limit the evaluation of the smoke production performance of aircraft seat cushions for flame propagation and smoke release.
2. Scope of application:
It is suitable for the study of measuring the fire in the cabin after a simulated aircraft crash, limiting the flame propagation by limiting the charred length of the seat cushion, and limiting the heat release and smoke release of the seat by limiting the combustion weight loss rate of the seat cushion. It is also used to evaluate the smoke performance of seat cushions under specified conditions.
3. Technical parameters:
1. Test chamber: The front door is equipped with a window. The material is made of stainless steel plate.
Burning box inner dimensions: width×depth× height 1400 × 1000×1600 (this size is for reference only)
2. Specimen fixing frame: made of 3mm thick angle steel and flat steel, all made of stainless steel. The leg length of the holder is 305±3mm.
3. Sample requirements:
a. The specimen consists of a seat cushion and a seat back cushion. Test sampling requires 3 samples.
b. The seat specimen is 457±3mm wide× 508±3mm long× 102±3mm thick;
c. The cushion test is 457±3mm wide× 635±3mm high× 51±3mm thick.
4. Combustion system: It is composed of a pressure stabilizer valve, a filter, a regulating valve, a flowmeter, and a burner.
a. The sample burner is an improved spray gun type;
b. Nozzle with a spray angle of 80°;
c. Burner cone: installed at the end of the nozzle, 305mm long, 152mm high and 280mm wide;
d. Burner fuel pressure regulating valve: adjust the fuel flow rate to 0.126L/min;
e. The flame application time of test combustion is 2min.
4.The judgment requirements:
At least two-thirds of the specimen group must not be charred from the side close to the burner to the edge of the seat cushion opposite the burner, i.e., the burn length must not exceed 432 mm (17 inches).
The average percentage weight loss of the specimen must not exceed 10%, and at least two-thirds of the specimen groups must not exceed 10%.
5. Equipment features:
The whole instrument is composed of a closed test chamber, a kerosene burner, a combustion system, an ignition, a test fixing frame, a heat flow meter test system, a temperature measuring instrument and a test software. The circuit is developed by single-chip microcomputer, with high technical content and stable performance. This instrument is mainly suitable for the flammability test of aircraft seat cushions, the main components of the specimen are a combination of foam core, floating material, fire retaining material and decorative cover, if the seat cushion and back cushion use a combination of different materials, each material combination must be used to form a complete specimen group for testing.
