DX8349 Wire and cable bundle combustion testing machine
Application scope: Used to evaluate the ability of vertically installed bundled wires, cables, or optical cables to suppress vertical flame propagation under specified conditions, with the need to cooperate with smoke and dust removal towers during use. The whole machine consists of several parts, including a test chamber, air source, steel ladder, emission purification system, ignition source, etc.

Technical parameters:
1. Test box: The experimental device should be a self-supporting box with a width of (1000± 100) mm, a depth of (2000±100) mm, and a height of (4000±100) mm. The back wall and both sides of the test chamber should have a heat transfer coefficient of approximately 0.7W? M-2? K-1 thermal insulation, 1.5mm thick USU304 stainless steel plate, 65mm thick insulation mineral fiber wrapped in the middle, and 1.5mm thick USU304 stainless steel plate on the outside
2. Air source:
The air inlet is equipped with a digital air velocity anemometer, and the gas flow rate of the air is (5000±500) L/min.
After the experiment is completed: If the sample is still burning after stopping the fire for one hour, there is an alarm and a device that uses rain to forcibly stop the combustion.

4. Emission purification device:
The upper part of the test box is equipped with a digital anemometer to ensure that the wind speed is less than 8M/S and will not affect the air flow inside the test box.
Smoke collection and washing smoke and dust device: SUS304 stainless steel, with a diameter of 800mm and a height of 3500mm.
Ignition source
1. Type: The ignition source should include one or two belt type propane gas nozzles and their accompanying flow meters and Venturi mixers. The fire supply surface should be a flat metal plate drilled with 242 holes with a diameter of 1.32mm, with a center distance of 3.2mm. These holes are arranged in three staggered rows, with 81, 80, and 81 in each row, distributed in a nominal size of within a range of 257×4.5mm. In addition, a row of small holes are opened on both sides of the flamethrower, which can maintain stable combustion of the flame. Each spray lamp should be equipped with accurate devices to control the flow rate of propane and air. Rotary flow meter or mass flow meter can be used
2. The ignition source position nozzle should be placed horizontally, (75±5)mm away from the front surface of the cable specimen, (600±5)mm away from the bottom of the test box, and symmetrical with the axis of the steel ladder. The ignition point of the spray lamp should be located at the center between the two horizontal bars of the steel ladder, and at least 500mm away from the lower end of the sample.

Smoke and dust collection tower
Smoke dust removal tower: mainly used for generating smoke during the experimental process. The gas emitted after being treated by the smoke dust removal tower meets environmental protection requirements.
Material: The entire body of the washing tower is made of PP material, and there are no metal components in the system, which has extremely high acid and alkali resistance and corrosion resistance;
Circulating liquid layer: It can be filled with tap water or detergent, which has a better effect. In order to prevent the discharge of waste from corroding the bottom of the washing tower;
Air layer: the exhaust gas that needs to be treated emitted during production or experimental processes, connected to the air inlet to facilitate the entry of waste into the air layer;
Filling layer: The filling material for the washing tower is a sea urchin shaped mesoporous ball made of PP material, with a multi tooth TELLERTT shape. The surface of the filling layer has a window for easy cleaning of the small balls inside the filling layer. The main function of the filling layer is to disperse the exhaust gas in the air layer, making it a dispersed waste, in order to fully clean the exhaust gas in the spray layer;
Spray layer: The sprinkler head in the spray layer adopts a PP120 degree rotating non clogging sprinkler head, covering an area of 95%. The spray layer has an independent window for checking the working condition of the sprinkler head;
Anti fog layer: It can effectively filter impurities in the air and also prevent water mist crystals in the exhaust gas from corroding the inner wall of the washing tower;
Circulating pump: The circulating pump circulates the liquid in the circulating liquid layer through the sprinkler head, saving water.

3, Test conditions: The external wind speed measured by the anemometer installed on the top of the test box should be less than 8m/s, and the temperature of the inner wall should be between 5℃-40℃. The inner wall thermometer is measured at the intersection of 1.5m above the bottom of the box, 50mm from one side of the wall, and 1.0m from the door. The door of the test chamber should always be closed during the experiment. The cable or cable section used as a sample before the test should be treated at a temperature of (23±5)℃ for at least 16 hours, and the test box should be dry.
