Overview:
This equipment uses smoldering cigarettes and simulated match flames as ignition sources to carry out anti-ignition tests on upholstered furniture, and simulate the anti-ignition performance of upholstered furniture when it is impacted by match flame and cigarette butt flame in actual use, so as to judge the anti-ignition performance of upholstered furniture. The test chamber is treated with heat insulation, and the outer layer is made of stainless steel, the middle and inner layers are added with heat insulation materials, and the box is beautiful and generous.
Scope of application:
Simulate the flame source of a match to evaluate the anti-ignition characteristics of upholstered furniture. It is mainly suitable for the test and evaluation of the anti-ignition characteristics of soft mattresses, furniture soft packages, sofas and other soft ladder furniture for household use.
Meet the standards:
It meets the requirements of GB17927.1~2-2011 "Evaluation of Anti-ignition Characteristics of Upholstered Furniture Mattresses and Sofas Part 1 Smoldering Cigarettes and Part 2 Simulated Match Flames" and ISO 8191-1~2:1988 test standards.
Performance Parameters:
Simulating a match flame:
1. Ignition source system: a stainless steel combustion pipe with an outer diameter of (8±0.1mm), an inner diameter of (6.5±0.1mm) and a length of (200±5mm);
2. Hose: the length is (2.5~3mm), the inner diameter should be (7±1mm), and it is connected to the stainless steel combustion pipe;
3. Flow control system: including a flow meter, fine adjustment valve, on-off valve and pressure regulating valve;
4. The flow rate is (45±2) m1/min, and the nominal output pressure provided by the system is 2.8kpa;
5. Timing range: 0-999S, which can display and record the time of continuous combustion or smoldering, the cracking time of the fabric, and the extinguishing time of the specimen.
6. The test distance of the igniter: 20-80 is adjustable, and the ignition mechanism automatically moves and evacues;
7. Flow detection range: 10~100m1/min

Cigarette ignition source:
1. The cigarette is a cylindrical cigarette with a filter, or a filter and interface packaging removed, and meets the following requirements:
Length: 60±5mm; Diameter: 8±0.5mm; Mass per unit length: (0.6±0.1) g/50mm;
2. Cigarette burning time: (12±3) min/50mm;
3. Every 10 cigarettes of the same kind are a group, one of them is randomly extracted, and the burn-up time of the cigarette is measured in the laboratory according to the following method: after the cigarette is pretreated according to 7.1, one cigarette is taken out, and the cigarette is marked at 5mm and 55mm from the ignition end. Insert a thin steel needle horizontally into the non-ignition end of the cigarette with an insertion length of no more than 11mm. The ignition test records the time taken by the cigarette to burn between the two marks in accordance with the ignition test specified in 8.2;
4. Laboratory: 2.5 meters long, 2.2 meters wide, 2.5 meters high, including ventilation ducts. Made of stainless steel;
5. Observation window: a large tempered glass observation window, surrounded by SUS304 stainless steel;
6. Gas flow adjustment: adjust the test gas flow rate to 45±2mL/min;
7. Timing: 0-99.99H/m/s arbitrarily set;
