IEC 60754-1 Electric Cables Halogen Acid Gas Tester

Scope of application:

It is suitable for determining the total amount of halogen acid gas for low and halogen-free flame retardant cables and for measuring pH and conductivity to determine the acidity of gases.

Equipment composition:

1. Tubular furnace: the effective length and diameter of the heating chamber are 600×ф42mm, and it is equipped with an adjustable electric heating system. Heating power: 220V/10KW

2. Combustion tube:

1. Material: refractory pipe made of silicon dioxide, resistant to corrosive gas.

2. Specifications: The inner diameter is 40mm, the length of the inlet side of the tubular furnace is 60~200mm, and the length of the outlet side is 60~100mm, leaving a gap for heating expansion.

3. Burning boat:

1. Material: fused silica tube.

2. Specifications: length 100mm, width 25mm, depth 10mm.

3. Feeding method of burning boat: bar magnet and platinum wire pulling method are adopted.

Fourth, the collection of gas: two bottles are selected: one of them is equipped with a magnetic stirrer and contains 220mL of sodium hydroxide solution.

Specifications:

Tube Furnace:

- For heating section of furnace, its length is 500mm and inner diameter is 40mm. It also contains electrically controllable heating system(Temperature Controller).

Tube (Pyrex):

- Fire resistant tube is used in the furnace to protect tube against corrosive gases. The tube is made in silicon dioxide fire-proofing agent. Inner diameter of silica tube is 38mm and the length of tube is 150mm from the entrance of furnace and tube is protruded in a distance of 100mm from the exit.

Combustion Boat:

Gas Washing Bottle:
