DX8515 Impact Vibration Rain Burning Testing Equipment
Introduction:
The performance requirements of this testing machine include fire resistance test, water spray fire resistance test, and mechanical fire resistance test. It is suitable for mineral insulated cables with a rated voltage not exceedng 450/750V, and can maintain circuit integrity for a long time under flame conditions.
Compliant with standards:
Complies with the test standard requirements of the British Fire resistant Cable Standard BS6387 "Specification for Performance Requirements of Cables to Maintain Circuit Integrity in Fire Conditions".
Equipment composition:
Fire resistance test: The fire resistance test bench includes the following parts: cable support system, continuous detection device, heat source, etc;
2. Continuous detection device: During the test, the current is allowed to pass through all cores of the cable, one three-phase star connected transformer or three single-phase transformers (or one single-phase transformer, if the test is a single core cable), and has sufficient capacity to maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 3A at the test voltage. Connect a lamp to each core wire at the other end of the cable and load a current close to 0.25A at the rated voltage of the cable.
3. Heat source:
3. Test flame temperature and time: (see BS6387 combustion level)
A 650. C ± 40 ° C -3 hours
B 750. C ± 40 ° C -3 hours
C 950. C ± 40 ° C -3 hours
S 950. C ± 40 ° C -20 minutes
4. Sample: The sample is a section of the finished product, not less than 1200mm, with 100mm of sheath and cover removed from each end. The wires at both ends of the cable should be connected electrically.
5. Test voltage: 200-1000V, adjustable
*BS6387 flame retardant grade requires passing horizontal combustion experiments, water spray experiments, and mechanical shock vibration combustion experiments.
Horizontal combustion test: A grade 650 ℃/3h, B grade 750 ℃/3h, C grade 950 ℃/3h, and S grade 950 ℃/3min. A level indicates no breakdown after burning at a voltage level of 300 volts for 3 hours at 650 ℃; B-level indicates no breakdown after burning at a voltage level of 300 volts for 3 hours at 750 ℃; C-level indicates no breakdown after burning at a voltage level of 300 volts for 3 hours at 950 ℃; S-level indicates no breakdown after burning at a voltage level of 300 volts for 3 minutes at 950 ℃.
Water spray combustion test: divided into W levels, indicating that no breakdown occurs after applying a 300 volt voltage to burn for 15 minutes and then spraying water to burn for 15 minutes.
Impact vibration combustion test: divided into X level 650 ℃/15min, Y level 750 ℃/15min, and Z level 950 ℃/15min. X level represents the mechanical impact vibration without breakdown for 15 minutes every 30 seconds when applying a voltage of 300 volts while burning at 650 ℃; Y-level indicates applying a voltage of 300 volts at 750 ℃ while burning, and mechanical shock vibration every 30 seconds for 15 minutes without breakdown; Z-level refers to a mechanical shock vibration every 30 seconds for 15 minutes without breakdown when applying a voltage of 300 volts at 950 ℃ while burning. The highest level model required by BS6387 is CWZ.
2, Water and fire resistance test: cable support system, continuous detection device, heat source
1. Cable support system: The cable is connected to a metal bracket composed of two 25mm wide rigid plates, which is fixed with metal clips with a spacing of 200mm. The cable is connected to the bracket as shown in Figure 3, and all metal frames are grounded.
2. Continuous detection device: During the test, allow the current to pass through all cores of the cable, three single-phase transformers, and have sufficient capacity to maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 3A at the test voltage. Connect a lamp to each core wire at the other end of the cable and load a current close to 0.25A at the rated voltage of the cable.
3. Heat source:
3, Mechanical vibration and fire resistance: including the following parts of the testing device, fixing the components in the corresponding positions of the slotted frame.
The cable is fixed on a vertical wall and fixed on a steel plate using heat-resistant and non combustible materials; The transformer connects the fuse to the lamp to indicate that the circuit is continuous; Vibration device; heat source.
1. Wall and its installation: The wall is composed of heat-resistant and flame-retardant materials and fixed on two horizontal steel beams, one at the top of the board and the other at the bottom of the board. This board is approximately 900mm long, 300mm wide, and 9mm thick, and the total weight of the wall (i.e. board with supporting frame) is 10 ± 2 kg. Each steel beam is a square steel pipe with a length of approximately 1m and 25mm. If filling material is required, it needs to be placed inside the steel beam. The upper steel beam must be fixed on the plate so that its upper surface is flush with the upper edge of the plate. Each steel beam and slab has a horizontal hole at the outer edge, and its precise position is determined by the specific requirements of the support pad and support frame. The wall is bonded to the frame with 4 rubber bushings, with a diameter of approximately 32mm and a thickness of 20mm.
2.Continuous detection device: During the test, allow the current to pass through all cores of the cable, three single-phase transformers, and have sufficient capacity to maintain the maximum allowable leakage current of 3A at the test voltage. Connect a lamp to each core wire at the other end of the cable and load a current close to 0.25A at the rated voltage of the cable.
3.Heat source:
Heat: A strip shaped burner with a length of 400mm can burn cable samples up to 400mm. The burner assembly can be adjusted to provide a bright flame with a temperature of 650 ± 40 ° C,
Temperature measurement: 2mm diameter armored thermometer, with a section of the thermometer passing through the wall that is 8mm to 10mm away from the wall. The temperature is measured by the following procedure: at one end of the low-carbon steel rod, a thermometer with a diameter of 3mm ± 5% and a length of 300mm is tied to it, so that it can measure the temperature of the rod. Grasp the stick and approach the flame to maintain a distance of 40mm to 50mm from the flame. When the flame temperature is 950 ° C, the temperature of the steel rod can reach 400 ° C in 10s to 20s. When the flame temperature is 650 ° C, the temperature of the rod can reach 400 ° C in 20s to 40s
4. Test flame temperature and time: The test temperature needs to be selected from the following table:
X 650 ± 40 ° C
Y 750 ± 40 ° C
Z 950 ± 40 ° C
4. Vibration device: The vibration device consists of a low-carbon steel rod (diameter 25mm ± 5%, length 600mm ± 5%). The longitudinal section of the rod is parallel to the wall and 200mm higher than the top of the wall. A shaft divides it into two parts, 200mm and 400mm, with the longer part facing the wall. Drop from a parallel position at 60 ° C to the middle of the wall at a distance of 30 ± 2 seconds.
5. Sample: The sample is a section of cable that is not less than 1200mm in length, with 100mm of sheath and cover removed from each end. The wires at both ends of the cable should be properly prepared according to the electrical connections and manufacturer's recommendations. The cable needs to be bent into two sections that are approximately equal in length and parallel from the middle. The diameter of the curved part is 6D, where D represents the outer diameter of the cable. Form the cable in a Z-shape, with a horizontal distance of 13D between the fixed ends.
6. The cable needs to be fixed to the wall with copper clips, and the installation of special cables needs to refer to the manufacturer. The clamp needs to be fixed on the two curved parts of the cable, with the middle part of the bend being vertical: in the part where the cable becomes horizontal, the distance between adjacent clamps is equal, about 150mm to 200mm.
