DX8086 High Current Arc Ignition Testing Equipment
Product Overview: According to IEC 60950-1:2001 "Safety of Information Technology Equipment" and UL746A, IEC60947.1:1999 and other standards specified in the simulation safety test items. The high-current arc ignition tester uses double electrodes, under a specific current (33A) and power factor (COSφ0.5), according to a certain arc initiation speed (254mm/s) and repetition rate (40 times/min), the surface of the sample is repeatedly arced to 200 times, and the ignition resistance of the sample is evaluated.
Test description: Parts of insulating materials or other solid combustible materials that are easy to spread flames inside electrical and electronic equipment may ignite due to proximity or contact with the arc, causing electrical fires and endangering the reliable operation of equipment and personal safety.
Scope of application: It is mainly suitable for the arc resistance test of electrical and electronic products, household appliances and their materials, simulating the leakage that may be caused on the insulator between live parts of different polarities or between live parts and grounded metal parts, so as to measure and evaluate the arc resistance of the insulator under the specified voltage.
Standards: IEC 60950-1:2001, BS EN 60950-1::2001, BS 7002:2001, GB 4943-2001 "Safety of Information Technology Equipment" and UL746A, IEC60947.1:1999, GB/T14048.1-2000, IEC730.1:1993, GB14536.1-1998 and other standard requirements.
Test description: The high-current arc ignition tester is a double electrode of specified size and different materials (electrode-copper and electrode-stainless steel), under a specific current (33A) and power factor (COSφ0.5), according to a certain arc initiation speed (254mm/s) and repetition rate (40 times/min), the arc is repeatedly triggered to 200 times on the surface of the sample, and the high-current arc ignition resistance of the sample is evaluated (HAI). The smaller the level number, the more difficult it is for the material to burn.
