The working principle of the salt spray test chamber:
The salt spray test chamber is one of the "three preventions" (damp heat, salt spray, mold) test equipment in the artificial climate environment, and it is a device that simulates the diffusion system composed of salt-containing tiny droplets in the atmosphere. It is widely used in salt spray corrosion tests on electronic, electrician, automobile, motorcycle, hardware tools and other products, parts, metal materials and products.
There are four kinds of tests that can be done in the salt spray test chamber: neutral salt spray test (NSS), copper accelerated acetate spray test (CASS), alternating salt spray test, and acetate spray test (ASS test).
There are four kinds of tests that can be done in the salt spray test chamber: neutral salt spray test (NSS), copper accelerated acetate spray test (CASS), alternating salt spray test, and acetate spray test (ASS test). Of course, not only the solution required for the test is different for different tests, but also the design and structure of the box may also be different.
1. The temperature of the neutral salt spray test (NSS) test chamber is required to be (35±2) °C, the humidity is greater than 95%, the fog reduction is 1~2mL/80cm*h, and the nozzle pressure is 78.5~137.3kPa (0.8~1.4kgf/cm2). In the salt spray test chamber, the brine containing (5 ± 0.5)% sodium chloride and the pH value of 6.5~7.2 is sprayed through the spray device, so that the salt spray settles on the test specimen, and the surface corrosion state is observed after a certain period of time.
2. Copper-accelerated acetate spray test (CASS) is to add copper chloride 2 water to 5% sodium chloride brine on the basis of the general salt spray test to make the concentration of 0.26g/L, and then adjust the pH with acetic acid to make the pH value of the salt spray collection solution 3.1-3.3. (Refer to GB/T 10125 artificial atmosphere corrosion test)
3. The alternating salt spray test is a comprehensive salt spray test (realized by using the alternating salt spray test chamber).
4. The acetate spray test (ASS test) is developed on the basis of the neutral salt spray test. It is the addition of some glacial acetic acid to a 5% sodium chloride solution.
